Graduated in "Cell Biology and Biotechnology" (2007) and with a MSc in "Human Biology and Environment" (2009) by FCUL, I intend to pursue a PhD in Bioinformatics.
In early 2010, I integrated the CoBiG², and was responsible for most of the website new look and logo, along with Francisco Pina-Martins.
I have skills in GNU/Linux, Java, SQL, R, LaTeX, Web content management systems (Web CMS), image/video edition, among others.
During my MSc thesis "Comprehending the Cost of Antibiotics Resistance in Bacteria", I developed an ImageJ plug-in, named Colony Counter, for automatically enumerating Escherichia coli colonies in agar plates and consequently reducing this task workload.
